Oman Family Visa Rules 2025

• The Royal Oman Police granted 2 types of visa Family, the first one it’s a family visa for 2 years, and it granted to (an expatriate employee’s spouse and children, and t foreign wife of an citizen), while the second visa is A visa for visiting relatives and friends for 3 months, and it granted to (the relatives and friends of the citizen, the relatives of the foreign resident in the country at the employer’s request, the friends of the owner of the housing).
• The Oman family visa does not allow the visitor to enter Oman without the approval of the Royal Oman Police.
• The Oman family visa is Multi-entry.
• Applicants must not have previously been denied an Oman visa.
• The resident husband must have a job with high specifications.
• There must be a rental contract in the name of the family visa applicant.
• The visitor’s passport must be valid for 6 months or more.
• The applicant’s salary must start from 600 OMR.
• For relatives and friends, their sponsor must provide a certificate proving the degree of kinship, while for married, the husband must provide a copy of the marriage certificate certified by (the embassy of the wife’s country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior in Oman).
• For the visitor coming from these countries (Philippines, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Syria Sudan, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Egypt, and Nepal) must have a medical test card.

Required Documents for Oman Family Visa

Here are the required documents for Oman family visa:

• 2 Personal photos, size (4×6) cm.
• visitor’s passport with a validity of no less than 6 months, and a copy of it.
• A copy of the resident’s/ citizen’s passport wishing to bring their (wife, family, relatives, friends) with a validity of no less than 6 months.
• Resident’s/ citizen’s ID card, and a copy of it.
• A document proving the degree of kinship between the citizen/ resident and the visitor coming to join them.
• Signature form issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and a copy of it.
• Employee’s information form indicating (salary, profession) issued by the Ministry of Manpower.
• Medical test card for those coming from (Philippines, India, Pakistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Syria and Nepal).
